Annie Denton Cridge, 1825-1875

Biographical note

Annie Denton Cridge was, with her husband Alfred, a social reformer in Washington, DC, in the 1860's. She had died by 1884 when her son mentions her as "the late Mrs. Cridge".

She is remembered here as the author of the feminist Utopian fiction Man's Rights, published in 1870.
